NSCPC ADVOCACY VISIT TO OGUN STATE HOUSE OF ASSEMBLY.

NATIONAL SCHOOL CRIME PREVENTION CORPS (NSCPC) was at Ogun State House Of Assembly to pay an advocacy visit to the Honourable Members of the House.

Leading the NSCPC to the House Of Assembly is the National Commandant General. Dr. Folayinka Ige. Who in his opening remarks showcase some of the weapons, charms and occultic items received from Students from various Secondary schools. He also advocate for getting the NSCPC being legislated to prevent crimes in all Primary, Secondary and Tertiary Institutions of learning.

In His remark, the Rt. Hon. Oludaisi Elemide. The Speaker, Ogun State House Of Assembly said that prevention of crimes and social vices in institution of learning in Ogun State is highly paramount to the State Government and if an Organization like NSCPC can handle this, it will definitely goes a long way in stopping and preventing crimes and social vices in our learning environment. He thereby promised the house full supports to the NSCPC.

In his vote of thanks, the Commandant General, Dr. Folayinka Ige appreciated all the house members especially the Rt. Hon. Oludaisi Elemide, the Speaker Ogun State House Of Assembly for giving NSCPC a golden chance to presents the Organization to the House Of Assembly while praying that God would be with all the House members.


DR. FOLAYINKA IGE CELEBRATES HIS GOLDEN JUBILEE IN A GRAND STYLE.

Dr. Folayinka Ige the Commandant General of the National School Crime Prevention Corps. NSCPC. A School Crime Prevention Organization. An NGO in partnership with Save the Future Generation STFG UK /ROI and a Member of Alliance for Peace building AFP the number one peace influencers in the world celebrates his golden jubilee birthday anniversary last Saturday 16th March, 2024.

In a surprise package, an entertaining team stormed his office as early as 7:16am to wish him happy birthday with Saxophonic blast and African talking drum to support the rythms courtesy Mrs Ige Adebukola, his wife.

Having in attendance was Commander Adewale Wasiu, Commander Tosin Meadows and several Staff of NSCPC. Also 2 Men of God was also in attendance, Pastor Kolade Richard and Pastor Seun Charles prayed for the celebrant.

In a special vote of thanks. Mrs Ige Adebukola displayed her heart of gratitude to God for sparing the life of her husband till date while appreciating everyone presence for their love and support to the family.

Ogun SUBEB – News – NSCPC HONORS DR FEMI MAJEKODUNMI WITH AMBASSADORIAL PLENIPOTENTIARY

A Non-Governmental Organization (NGO), and Para-Military, the National School Crime Prevention Corps (NSCPC) has conferred the Ambassadorial Plenipotentiary (NSCPC) award on the Executive Chairman, Ogun State Universal Basic Education Board, Dr. Femi Majekodunmi, in honor of his official capacity as the Executive Chairman of the Board to enhance the growth of crime prevention in Public Primary schools across the State.

The award was presented to the SUBEB Boss by the Commander General, Commandant Folayinka Ige at a meeting held at the Board Conference Room.

While addressing the corps, the Executive Chairman appreciated the Non-Governmental security outlet for honoring him and their efforts in ensuring crime free schools’ environment, He expressed satisfaction with the passion displayed by NSCPC for combating crime and cultism at an earlier stage in the schools, so as to prevent adult cultism, hooliganism and hoodlums in the society as well as the country at large.

Earlier in his remark, the Board Secretary, Mr. Wasiu Olalekan Kuye while appreciating the NSCPC for their impact on school security, noted that, he has been following the trend of their feats in Public Primary schools across the State and assured them the supports of the Board.

In his presentation, the Commander General, Commandant, Folayinka Ige, appreciated the State Government for prioritizing the security of lives and properties of its citizens and disclosed that in the bid to ensure crime free schools’ environment, it is time to involve the teachers by training them on some security consciousness, he noted that the meeting was to shed more light on certain grey areas on how to curb incessant violence in Public Primary Schools as stated in their proposal earlier submitted to the Board.

The commandant while giving the highlight of their organisation’s feats, said that the organisation has seized a lot of dangerous weapons from the students during school period. He then urged parents and guidances to admonish their children or wards and feed them with words of God in ensuring that their children/wards become better persons in the society.

YMCA LEADERSHIP SUMMIT

Officer Tunde Sanyaolu of the National School Crime Prevention Corps (NSCPC) was the Guest Speaker at a leadership summit organised by the Youth Council of the Abeokuta Branch of the Young Men Christian Association (YMCA).
The theme of the summit was “The Role of the Youths in Improving National Peace and Security.” It was held at the Cathedral of St. Peter, Ake, Abeokuta on Saturday 3rd October, 2020.

Officer Sanyaolu enlightened the gathering about the existence, the activities and the achievements of the NSCPC. He informed the gathering that the theme of the summit revolves round the aspirations of the organisation with particular reference to “peace” and “security.”

He judiciously treated the theme with references to real life contemporary issues and events. This approach enlivened the program and sustained the interest of the participants till the end of the program.

In their reactions to what they heard, some of the participants said the impact of the speech had made them develop a whole fresh perspectives on some issues. They said that the contents of the lecture should be exposed to many other people and regions in the country.
The occasion added another feather to the cap of NSCPC.
